A grammatical study of the meanings and declensions of the Arabic prepositional particle “fi” in the book Nurul Basar by Shaikh Ibrahim Inyas Al-Kaolakhy

ABSTRACT
This research aims at exposing the meanings inherent in “Fi” as an Arabic prepositional particle in fold of the texts of poetic verses from the book; Nurul Basar Fi Madhi Sayyid Al-Bashar (S.A.W) by Shaikh Ibrahim Inyas al-Kaolakhy. Similarly, it strives to throw light on eight (8)
meanings of the “Fi” derived from the book as an Arabic prepositional particle. The meanings are ‘Adh-Dharfiyyah’, ‘At-Ta’aliliyyah’, ‘Al-Isti’ilaiyyah’, ‘Muradifatul Ba’’, ‘Muradifatul Min’, ‘Musahabah’, ‘Muradifatul Inda’, and ‘Az-Za’idatu lit-Taukid’. This is to bring the Shaikh’s poetic meanings closer to the recipients and to demonstrate the verses that are contained in the book. The researcher subjects all the verses that he cited in this work to declension in order to bring their meanings closer to the level of understanding or help in getting to understand them.
